Our Dogs Got Evicted.

We need to talk about the Supreme Court's order from Nov 7, 2025, which is causing serious distress among animal advocates nationwide.
Animal activists, caregivers, and NGOs across India are uniting because this ruling tries to solve the stray dog problem with a mandate that contradicts established science and public reality.
We all are protesting because we need logic to prevail over good intentions.

The Court basically gave an Eviction Notice to all dogs living near high-footfall public spots (schools, hospitals, railway stations).

Your local dog, Sheru?

He’s a trespasser now. After sterilization, he gets a permanent relocation to a "designated shelter" and he is not allowed back home.

Great plan! Now, where exactly are these shelters?

We can't even get proper parking in this country, but authorities are now tasked with creating multi-million dollar housing ready for millions of animals, practically overnight. This is less a legal directive and more an unfunded public policy mandate that is impossible to execute humanely.

Our own ABC Rules (Capture-Sterilize-Release) exist because they work!

If you remove one dog, two new, aggressive, unfixed dogs move in to claim the territory. It's called the Vacuum Effect (you remove one, a chaotic new one pops up).

And who is the hero managing this chaos?

The poor Nodal Officer!

Imagine the college principal telling the librarian, "Your main KPI is now successfully wrestling strays."

We are protesting because we demand logic

This order is a disaster for dogs and for common sense. We are not asking for magic, we are asking for the proven scientific method

Share this post if you think our leaders should stick to science, not wishful thinking!

We need your voice. That is why a National Movement of Compassion is launched.
On November 29th, thousands across India will walk to their local General Post Offices to post handwritten letters to the Honorable Supreme Court of India.
These letters represent unity, civic responsibility, and the collective voice of a country that believes in coexistence.

Join in this peaceful national letter movement for justice and empathy.
